HIT Week 38 (10/25 – 10/31)

Happy November!

It is officially November! What does that mean? I’m not really sure, but whatever, its November! On month closer to 2011…

This past week my mid-week runs were lacking (again…) but I had an awesome race on Saturday morning! I ran the Minneapolis Monster Dash Half Marathon and I’m really happy with my time and how I felt the entire time! There was some chaos toward the end, but all in all I’m happy – a full review is linked below.

M: 3.94 mile run
T: horrible weather!
W: crazy winds!
R: C25K, W1D2 w/ friend
F: Spin & no lift
S: Monster Half Marathon!
S: Rest

Clearly I did not get in 5 days of workouts this week. I could make excuses – namely the weather, there were driving advisors because of the wind – but I won’t. I slacked. Yes, the weather is an excuse not to run outside. I do happen to have a gym membership and I had no excuse not to run at the gym. I slacked. That is all. Even so, I rocked out at the half marathon and that makes me happy!
