A lot can change in a few hours – especially if it involves the weather of Colorado! Last week we went from 60 degrees at 10am to snow at 6pm. Seriously, run group people were talking about running in shorts that morning while wearing three layers for the PM group run. Colorado cannot make up its mind!

Last night very few of us showed up for the Wednesday night group run. By very few I mean two. Probably because it was a snowy mess outside…

…also exactly what it looked like at 6am Thursday Morning…

We ended up with about 6 inches of snow on the ground and cars – the roads were just a wet mess. But this is Colorado so this morning it didn’t feel weird to pack shorts for this evening’s run. Shorts were a good plan because this is what I got to run in tonight…

If we are lucky we’ll have a manage to keep a few days of nice weather before it mood swings again. Maybe this time we’ll be lucky enough to get rain instead of snow. I realized when we were in WI that I really miss rain – the smell, the sound, the sprinting to the car, the wet…everything! Apparently I really like rain!

Facebook tells me Wisconsin got dumped on with snow today – anyone want to bet they will still have a cover of snow tomorrow?! They might be cool enough to get snow like Colorado but they probably can’t get rid of it as quickly! Haha…enjoy your May snow!

    • When we drove to the airport Wedsnesday morning it was pouring rain – not the best for a 4am drive, but I still loved it! Our cat is glad thunder is rare here, he is a big chicken!

    • It was 80 last Tuesday and people were posting snowy photos on Thursday – they sure complain about it a lot more than we do in CO though! They’ve had a ton of snow this year – it’ll be a really muddy spring!

My run last night was in 45ish weather – perfect if you ask me! Trumps 80 any day!

    • Its been amazing here – almost midwesterly! Humid-ish this morning, thunderstorms tonight!

And I saw humid-ish because anyone back in WI would probably stab me if I called 40% “humid”…
